About my retreats and dance classes: they are true emotional detox.

Emotional Detox: Before and After
Every class I lead, every dance retreat begins the same way: focused faces, lowered eyes, tense shoulders. People arrive carrying the weight of the city, fatigue, and inner stories they’ve been holding for years—hidden from others and even from themselves.
At the start of practice, the breath is short, movements are stiff. The body seems to hold invisible walls. The mind tries to control how to look, what to do, what is “right,” what is “normal.”
But step by step, through different states, we begin the journey. Through dance—from heaviness to lightness, from closedness to openness. Music becomes the guide, and the body—the instrument of cleansing.
✨ What happens in the process:● tension in the chest gradually dissolves into the breath;● heaviness in the shoulders transforms, shaking brings release;● stiffness in the face shifts into a gentle smile;● eyes open—and joy, playfulness appear in them.
When we stop controlling how we look, we finally begin to live.
After class, I look at the faces and each time I am amazed by the wisdom of nature. What was closed and tense becomes bright and free. This is true emotional detox: to accept yourself and allow what is ready to come out to manifest—without criticism or judgment.
